Refund Policy

Our Satisfaction Guarantee

If you're not happy with your Santa photo, we'll make it right. Simple as that.

When We Offer Refunds

We will provide a full refund in the following situations:

1. Generation Failure

If our AI fails to generate your photo after payment, you will receive an automatic refund. We're also notified immediately so we can investigate the issue.

2. Quality Issues

If the generated image has significant quality problems that make it unusable, contact us and we'll either:

  • Generate a new image for you at no charge, or
  • Provide a full refund

3. Duplicate Charges

If you were accidentally charged multiple times for the same order, we will refund all duplicate charges.

When Refunds May Not Apply

Please note that refunds may not be provided if:

  • The photo was successfully generated and delivered as described
  • Dissatisfaction is due to subjective preference (though we'll try to help)
  • The original uploaded photo was low quality or inappropriate
  • You've already downloaded and used the generated image

That said, we're reasonable people. If something went wrong, just reach out and we'll work with you.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at ryan@getsantaphoto.com
  2. Include your order ID (from your confirmation email)
  3. Describe the issue you experienced
  4. If applicable, attach a screenshot of the problem

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 24 hours.

Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed through our payment provider (Polar.sh)
  • Funds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days
  • The timing depends on your bank or card issuer

Free Re-Generation

Before requesting a refund, consider that we're happy to re-generate your photo with different settings or a modified prompt. Sometimes a small tweak can make a big difference!
